A whole new world

Perceptions change when you have a baby. Things that seem so established before hand suddenly change and you find new meaning in them.

For example

Tylenol:
Before: A tablet that you could take to reduce the effects of being out the night before as you have guests for dinner this evening
After: A tablet that must be taken with a cup of coffee in order to start the day

Tiredness Headaches:
Before: A headaches that would rarely build due to lack of sleep and excess partying (or work!)
After: The headache you get when you wake up in the morning

The Cat:
Before: A friendly companion in the world
After: The animal that does not obey the sleeping rules and wakes everyone up all the time

Beer:
Before: Good times and laughs with friends
After: What is that?

Takeouts:
Before: Quiet night in together
After: Entertainment
