These are fantastical stories of unusual technology.
It is almost like we have the same fascination that the Victorians had in Jules Verne. Seems like it is the same dynamics and psychology going on.

Have just ordered some Indian food from Himalayan Spice restuarent in Toronto.
Really good food, best Indian takeaway I have had to date hear I think.

Countdown and red light cameras

They have started to install those count down timers on pedestrian crossings here. I know they are for pedestrians but I think they are just great.

No longer do I have to guess:

• Do I go or do I stop
• Are the lights going to turn red
• Am I going to see the flash of the "safety" camera.

Now there is a countdown you can use to stop in time and avoid all that stress... just great.
