Why is myspace so popular?

I have been looking at myspace and thinking why it is so popular. It appears somewhat addictive. I think it is related to the same phenomenon as in email & mobile phones. People at our heart are social and we like to have contact with other people and socialise/talk with other people.

Adding friends on myspace is no different, you press the button and are then waiting to see if that number increases and who has joined. It is addictive and the more you have the more popular you feel.

Weather this winter

The weather this winter is just bizarre. On the east coast, warmer than ever. On the west coast snow, wind and freezing conditions. What is going on.
It is all very concerning, especially around global warming. I am very worried this is a new trend and a 'tipping point' going forward. There are just too many people, using too much energy in the world. We need to do something.

Snow in TO

Finally it is snowing in Toronto.
This winter has been just too warm and odd. Strange weather everywhere.
Is very concerning for the environment.
